Hi + welcome back to the blog! I wanted to start a series on here for everything home decor. I shared a picture on stories last week of how I re-did my little entryway set up in our apartment and got so much feedback from you guys to share more home decor content! So, here we go.
Right now, we’re still in our 1-bedroom apartment. We purchased a home this past Fall and are doing a complete remodel. We will be starting renovations this month, which is so exciting. I cannot wait to share the whole process from demo, to remodel, to interior decor, so stay tuned for that!
With that being said, I wanted to get things started by sharing my go-to spots for home decor and furnishings. I linked pieces that are true to my style + aesthetic, so if something isn’t for you, be sure to check out the store’s website as they all have really great pieces from a variety of home decor styles. Several of the pieces I’m linking are pieces I’ve used to decorate our current apartment, + pieces I love and will bring to our future home. You can check out all of my home + interior design inspo on my Pinterest, too!
CB2 might just be my favorite place for home decor. It is definitely pricey, but the pieces are so beautiful and the quality is amazing, so I would recommend without a doubt. I get all of my pillow covers here, as well as some decorative pieces.
Crate & Barrel is the sister site to CB2 so there are also a ton of great pieces here. Still a little pricey, but definitely worth it for the quality, again.
Pottery Barn is one of my favorite places for simple, clean + neutral pieces. They have a very boho/cozy/modern vibe about their pieces which I love.
H&M released a home collection recently (last year, I think?), and I was shocked by how many pieces I immediately fell in love with. Really good prices, too. I ordered a few decorative pieces from here for the apartment, and love them. I’ve only heard really good things.
Target has two brands I love for home decor: Hearth & Hand with Magnolia and Project 62. I always find such beautiful pieces from these two brands, at great price points. I even found a decorative ceramic bowl that was a dupe for one at CB2 for half the price!
World Market has literally, everything. I honestly hate browsing their site because there is just too much stuff, but when you find the good stuff, its really good. I have several pieces, from trays to desk decor to vases, and I love them all. The prices are really good too.
Urban has some trendy home decor pieces that aren’t really my style, but I also usually find really nice, simple furniture and decor for reasonable prices. I purchased the most beautiful framed line drawing in the largest size to cover a blank wall in my apartment and I love it. I linked some of my favorites below.
